Flange Insulation & Isolation Range

Flange Insulation & Isolation

Explore insulating gaskets, flange insulation kits and individual components, alongside monolithic isolation joints for pipeline connections.

A / FLANGE INSULATION

Flange Insulation

Three-dimensional insulating gasket with laminate body, sealing element and section detail
01

Flange Insulating Gaskets

An insulating gasket separates the mating flange faces. The illustrated ring-style design includes a sealing element within a nonconductive body.

02

Flange Insulation Gasket Kits

A coordinated set of gasket, insulating sleeves, insulating washers and steel backup washers. Component sizes and quantities depend on the flange assembly.

B / INSULATION COMPONENTS

Insulation Components

Hollow insulating sleeves in perspective with an enlarged bolt and flange section
01

Insulating Sleeves

A nonconductive tube surrounds the bolt shank to separate it from the flange bolt hole. Sleeve length and bore are selected for the connection.

Nonmetallic laminate washers and an assembly detail showing placement below steel washers
02

Insulating Washers

Nonmetallic washers provide electrical separation beneath the metal backup washers. They form part of the insulated bolt assembly.

Steel backup washers with machined surfaces and an insulating washer stack detail
03

Steel Backup Washers

Metal washers support the insulating washers and distribute bolt load. Steel backup washers provide mechanical support, not electrical insulation.

C / PIPELINE ISOLATION

Pipeline Isolation

Weld-end monolithic pipeline isolation joint with labeled dielectric barrier and seal cutaway
01

Monolithic Isolation Joints

A factory-assembled pipeline joint with an internal dielectric barrier between metal ends. The cutaway illustrates the isolation concept rather than a specific manufacturing design.
